The Marc Cain Fashion Show was a Big Hit

The Marc Cain Fashion Show and luncheon took place yesterday, 9th June.  It’s the first time we’ve done anything like this, and we’re very pleased to say it was a great success.

While the audience sipped a glass of fizz and nibbled on canapés the models showed off the beautiful clothes.  Sarah Morgan from Marc Cain introduced each outfit and shared valuable information about the fabric, ease of washing, how they travel and how best to mix and match them.  There was then time to shop before Head Chef, Michael’s, delicious 2 course lunch.  Breast of chicken with broad beans, vegetables and new potatoes followed by Gariguette Strawberries, Fromage Mousse & Mint Sorbet, ideal for the female audience.

Julia Philipson from Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service popped in to tell us all about the charity and update us on the progress.  We are very pleased to say that the ticket sales and the generous donations from the audience raised a whopping £855 for the charity.

A big thank you to Cathy Lewis who owns the Marc Cain shop, which is based in St. Albans; not far, if you’d like directions click here.  We’d also like to thank all Cathy’s lovely girls and models, Sarah Morgan and Julia Philipson and most of all the wonderful ladies that attended and supported the event.

If you missed this one, don’t dismay.  We will be running another show in the autumn.  Keep an eye on our website or sign up to our newsletter to be one of the first to find out the date.
